The annual Whipsnade Tree Cathedral Service took place in June and was blessed with beautiful summer weather. The Salvation Army Band played for us and children from Kensworth and Studham schools sang delightfully, under the skilled musical guidance of Ann Copeland. Revd. Nicola Lenthall led the service, with support from Eric Richardson, chairman of the NGC Group, who led the prayers, and Barry Gowers who delivered the reading. The sound system was managed most effectively, as ever, by Stan Kitsell. Afterwards, cream teas were served in the garden of Pam and John Ward, and rounded off a truly memorable occasion. What a glorious tradition, and we extend our sincere thanks to all who contributed.
